almost 5 stars…but leather is wrinkled
i do love this bag. it arrived promptly and is exactly as described. however, it loses a star due to a wrinkle in the leather 
i’m not going to send it back…i’ll just consider it part of the "character" of the bag. i need to begin using this right away, so don’t have time for exchange. good price, and a perfect size — bigger than a purse, smaller than an over-night bag.
Using as tote or purse?
Ordered cafe color tote June 29th, received July 5th packaged in a a plastic bag, covered with sturdy paper inside the box. No accompanying order summary, which was a bit worrysome, but the ‘Your Orders’ section has order details.
The good:
Well made: impressed with quality of rivets and stitching and finish
Handles are sturdy and wide so bag doesn’t fall off your shoulders
Deep
Opens wide
Even, rich color. Dye didn’t rub off on my clothes
Fairly wide, deep zippered pocket on one inside wall
Two useful slip pockets on opposite inside wall
Issues to consider if your purpose is to use as a true tote:
Leather will scratch easily and even on the dark cafe color they will show
Not extremely wide at the bottom so you may have to stack things atop one another
2 outside pockets on either side basically useless: Can only get 2 fingers in either pocket. No other outside slip pockets
Dark lining may make it challenging…
