MAC Surfacing has added another string to its bow by being awarded FORS Bronze Accreditation.

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme that promotes best practice for commercial vehicle operators.

With over 4,250 members, FORS is gaining recognition as the transport industry’s go-to accreditation scheme. FORS encompasses all aspects of safety, efficiency, and environmental protection by encouraging and training fleet operators to measure, monitor and improve performance. FORS provides accreditation pathways for operators of any type, and for those organisations that award contracts and specify transport requirements.

FORS Bronze, Silver and Gold membership provides a progressive accreditation conduit whereby operators can achieve exemplary levels of best practice. FORS members stand out from the crowd, work to standards above the legal minimum and have access to a wide range of exclusive benefits that provide a real competitive advantage.

The commitment to running the company efficiently and safely is paramount to MAC. By volunteering to become FORS accredited, MAC once again demonstrates their commitment to road safety, and the well-being of the public.

The FORS accreditation is a stamp of approval, and a sign of quality that recognises capability. It brings confidence to all MAC stakeholders that their extensive fleet of vehicles is being run and managed properly and safely.

Marc Copson, Director of MAC Surfacing  commented on the accreditation:

“It fills us with pride to receive this award as we can be transparent with our customers about the quality of our fleet, and safety standards. It demonstrates our desire to provide first class service in every aspect of our business- from surface repairs, to labour supply, to the safety standards we uphold.

“We’re dedicated to achieving gold standard FORS, and this bronze award is our first step. We’ll be continuing to look for any further improvements we can make to climb the FORS accreditation rankings and secure that gold.”
