Across the whole team, the toughness and character of the Scots shone through. There is no secret trick. It was dedicated hard work and drive toward a goal. We are eager to recognize everyone in time but need to give a special nod of respect and admiration to the following 4-yr letter winning seniors that have been ROCKS on this team.

2016 TEAM RESULTS Summary Updated through Conf Finals

Track hand timing 101:

If the timing system is manual (like HP's button system), all times must be rounded up to the nearest tenth and only recorded in tenths. FAT (fully automatic timing) is recorded to the hundredths. Standard conversion from hand time to FAT is to add .24. As an example, a hand time of 28.01 is rounded up and recorded as 28.1. Converting to FAT makes it 28.34. Something to keep in mind for PR's, qualifying times and what you might be shown at the finish line.

POTBELLY'S FUNDRAISER. Thanks to all that particpated! The team made around $250 from eating sandwiches.

Troy Pollard! Click here to go to USATF.TV and watch video of HP alum, Troy Pollard, running in heat 3 of the Men's 400 at USATF Indoor Nats! He won his heat but was unfortunately DQed for a lane violation. Pollard holds the HP school record in the TJ and is 2nd on the honor roll in the 400.
