Hi,

I was one of the very first crowlability customers, I have 5 vbSEO licenses (version 2.4.0 - purchased back in 2005!) that are still running

Life lead me away from these 5 forums long time ago, so I didn't bother upgrading them. However, I still care enough to keep them running.

All these forums rely on vbSEO 2.4.0 & vBulletin 3.5.x

Today I had an issue when moving these forums to a new server (running under Apache 2.2 & PHP 5.4): the first forum that I moved gave me a "Zend Optimizer is not installed" message. So I went ahead & installed ionCube PHP Loader v4.4.3 and Zend Guard Loader v3.3

Now I have error 500 that I can't get rid of!

I didn't test other forums (I moved all the data, but I usually don't change name servers to point to the new server until the first forum move is successful).

However, I expect to see the same result (error 500)

Naturally, I thought about turning to vbSEO forums for help, but I found out that:

1. None of my license are recognized (guess it's fair since they are so old!)

2. I can't login to support system, since my login isn't recognized (yet my login does work just fine on your forums!)

3. I tried to register a new account, didn't receive any confirmation email, and I *still* can't login to your support system!

Since I don't have access to support, I'm posting this here.

Now, my options are:

1. Find legacy packages of ionCube PHP Loader / Zend Optimizer (or Guard Loader) that works with vbSEO 2.4.0 *and* PHP 5.4

2. Make vbSEO 2.4.0 work with ionCube PHP Loader v4.4.3 and Zend Guard Loader v3.3

3. Upgrade everything is (vbulletin + vbSEO). This is out of question: upgrade would cost like +1,250 US$ for all 5 forums! (I guess I'd have to shell out at least 100 $ for vB and 150 $ for vbSEO). Plus, forums are huge archives, upgrading millions of posts isn't something I'm willing to do

4. Drop vbSEO & either revert back to old threads or redirect to another SEO package

I'm willing to pay upgrade services (or something like that) just to get vbSEO 2.4.0 files that are recompiled with ionCube PHP Loader v4.4.3 / Zend Guard Loader v3.3, or to find a way to make this work

Ideally, I'd like to make option #1 or #2 work for me. If I can't, I'll have drop vbSEO (something that I really, really, really want to avoid)

Any other ideas / advice how to fix this would be more than welcome!

Thanks!
