I love the emergence of initials in practically everything! I especially love them in vase form. I’m a huge fan of Oh Joy’s line at Target and her cute letter vases. You can pick up OMG, YAY and OK, but what if you want to spell something else out? Here is a quick and easy DIY to make your own DIY letter gold vases!

You will need to pick up some paper mache letters. I always find them at AC MOORE, but you can also find a variety of sizes on Amazon!

You will also need to pick up some spray paint. Rustoleum has my favorite metallic gold, because it’s true gold which coats beautifully. I also picked up a glitter one for a little fun, but it’s not needed!

Then you simply spray your letters on both sides and let dry.

Once they are dry then use a razor to slice an opening into the top of the letters. This is super easy! You need minimal pressure to cut your opening.

Then pick up some faux flowers and wire cutters to easily cut them to size. You could also pick up water tubes to use real flowers!

On some of the letters there was some extra cardboard on the inside for structure so, you might have to shove a pair of scissors down the letter to poke thru and get your stem all the way down. Don’t you love my technical jargon? <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/2.2.1/72x72/1f642.png?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss" alt="
