I am sure I am going to regret this, but here it goes anyways. Last June
(2013), I bought this DAC brand new from ARN (authorized Ayon dealer). I really loved the sound, IMO easily one of the best if not the best DAC I heard in the under $10k range. It has 4 x 6h30 tubes, I believe 2 in the DAC and 2 in the pre stage. Pre!!! Thats right, this is an excellent tube preamplifier in its own right without even getting into the DAC. I tested the preamp against my $6500 Lamm LL2.1 deluxe (which is a highly regarded preamp), and believe me - I could live with this as my main preamp. Coming to the DAC, it is a superb DAC. It really transformed my system into a Hi-Fidelity setup. Instead of writing about its specs., please go through the links that I have provided.
Reason for sale: I want to sample a high end DSD DAC and have set my sights on the $10k stealth or the $15k Stratos. Not sure how much better they will be but an absence of auditioning options in India is leading me to this sale, sell it to finance the next purchase, blind!
Age: 1.5 years (has about 300-400 hours on it at most).

Can be shipped anywhere Gati delivers via air at the cost and risk of the buyer. Please note I will not use any other courier or method of shipment. Since the unit is only 1.5 year old the double shipping box and packaging is in excellent condition. Regardless, I encourage you to visit me, audition it and pick up the unit, safest method IMO. I will discount pick ups from my residence by 10k, so you can fly from most metros in India to Hyderabad (off-peak of-course).
Again, please this is absolutely not a distress sale, I am even wondering if I should sell the unit.
