Wenn ein Jahr zu Ende geht, ist damit gefühlt immer auch eine gewisse Endgültigkeit verbunden, oder? Vielleicht bin ich in in dieser Hinsicht zu sentimental, aber irgendwie bringt mich diese Zeit des Jahres immer zum Nachdenken. Man hat einfach das Bedürfnis das Ungelöste zu lösen, das Unverarbeitete endlich zu verarbeiten, das Unausgesprochene ein für alle Mal auszusprechen. Es ist eine Art die Seele rein waschen für das kommende Jahr. Und obwohl der Jahreswechsel nur auf dem Kalender stattfindet, verbinden wir damit so viele Gefühle, Erwartungen und Rituale.
In den letzten Wochen habe ich auch beobachtet, dass viele Menschen am Ende des Jahres einfach chronisch müde sind und sich dessen erst Recht zu diesem Zeitpunkt bewusst werden. Dazu gehöre ich zum Beispiel. Deshalb war ein Aufenthalt auf meiner Lieblingsinsel in Deutschland schon lange einfach mal nötig.
Für mich ist ein Aufenthalt auf Sylt einfach Balsam für die Seele.
Ich brauche nur ein paar wenige Tage dort verbringen und bin in Nu wieder fit. Das hat mit der Meeresluft, mit der unendlichen Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit zu tun. Ich liebe es, stundenlang durch diese unberührte Natur spazieren zu gehen. Oder nach einem langen Strandspaziergang im Sansibar essen zu gehen und danach gleich in einem schönen Spa abzutauchen. Es gibt fast nichts Erholsameres für mich…
Ich wäre aber keine Fashion-Bloggerin, wenn ich diese wunderschöne Kulisse nicht auch für meinen Blog nutzen würde.

When a year comes to an end, I always feel a certain kind of finality… Perhaps I am too sentimental in this regard, but somehow this time of the year always brings me to think about life. You simply have the need to solve the unresolved, to finally process the unprocessed, to pronounce the unspoken once and for all. It is a way to clean the soul for the coming year. And even though the yearly change takes place only on the calendar, we combine with this date so many feelings, expectations and rituals.
In recent weeks, I have also observed that many people are simply chronically tired at the end of the year and become aware of this right at this time. I belong to these for example. Therefore, a stay on my favorite island in Germany was simply necessary.
For me a stay on Sylt is simply balm for the soul.
I just need to spend a few days there and I’m in good shape again. This has to do with the sea air, with the infinite peace and seclusion. I love walking around this unspoiled nature for hours. Or to eat something after a long beach walk in the Sansibar and then to go immediately in a nice spa. There is almost nothing more relaxing for me …
But I would not be a fashion blogger, if I would not use this beautiful scenery for my blog.
