The theme is Spartan-IV Initiation. Cool scene with I think a Pillar of Autumn ship (although I wish the box did something besides needing be held up at the top!

Fireteam Apollo Insignia Pin: So the story of this box is that you’re a new USNC recruit and you’re joining Fireteam Apollo. First piece of gear is your insignia.
Here’s some additional details about all the in-game experiences you get as part of your subscription:
As an added bonus, anyone who orders the Halo Legendary Crate and links their Microsoft account will become a member of Fireteam Apollo, a brand new superfan program steeped in Halo lore. In the Halo universe, members of Fireteam Apollo are Spartan-IVs assigned to the UNSC Infinity and are led by Commander Sarah Palmer.

My daughter, who is an intense gamer, found the connections to be obvious without looking at the box. She’s super pumped about collecting all the figures.
They use little pegs to insert into the stand – the only bummer is that you cannot move their orientation.

And here’s everything that has to happen for you to become a member of the team. This is neat – and really something that I had expected from Loot Gaming!
Spartan-IV Initiation Pullover: This is a great hoodie t-shirt – really high quality with an excellent design, kangaroo front.
Alas, I got it in an XS for my little gamer girl, but I think it’s too big for her. I wistfully and feverishly wished I’d just gotten it in my size.
UNSC Utility Satchel: A great one strap backpack with loads of potential (and I think my husband’s new dad bag!).
There’s a tablet compartment in the back along with a zip pocket.
And several zip pockets in the front, a million loops (even though I am never quite sure what to use them for), and most importantly – bag charm clips. The only thing that would have improved this bag is a headphone port. It’s one of the best pieces of gear we’ve ever gotten from a geek box – high quality and versatile. (Really, we get a ton of bags and this is one of the best!).
Out of all the recent Loot Crate launches, this one has been my favorite. They nailed this B to the wall! It has awesome gear, an awesome wearable, an awesome collectible, loads of free exclusive content for subscribers, and something to make you feel that you’re really part of the HALO universe. I do have to note that the pin was for the founder’s crate and I’m not sure that subsequent crates will have a pin (or if they do, they may not be the same quality). I think a patch would be an great followup – especially if it’s velcroed to go on the bag.
