I have been on the look out for a few mid century pieces for some time! We headed up to the Long Beach Flea Market  (our favorite now) last weekend and managed to get through the WHOLE thing! It’s no where as huge as Pasadena Flea Market, so we were able to really see all that there was to offer. You can only imagine all the beautiful pieces I had to walk away from!

I didn’t find the two main pieces I was looking for, but I did score an amazing mid century triangular corner table, a black leather and chrome folding chair and another Dala horse to add to our little collection. All for cheap too! I will share those with you soon.

When I got back into town, I hit up a few of my favorite antique stores and managed to score this amazing mid century Garrison china cabinet! Yes, sometimes you find those pieces right under your nose! It was something I’ve been wanting for some time and was so thrilled when we spotted it. It wasn’t too large (even though I would have if we had the space). It’s the perfect cabinet for our little kitchen!

It was missing it’s original glass sliding doors, so I was able to get it for a great deal! Plus, glass is so easy to replace. It was in great condition and just needed some minor touching up (besides ordering some new sliding doors). The brass knobs are amazing and look fabulous against the walnut wood.

I took a few before pictures before we touch it up and get it in the house! What do you think?!

XOXO, Lidy
