My stay at the Sheraton Denver Tech Center hotel was a last minute booking this fall. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to save money or be closer to the airport, but having stayed at the Aloft Denver Airport before (it was perfectly fine) and not wanting to shell out $370 for the new Westin at the airport, I decided to give the Sheraton Denver Tech Center a try.

I checked in the evening, stayed on the club floor and left early in the morning, so my experience, and thus my review, is limited to my club floor experience. As a platinum I’d been upgraded to a Club Floor and given a Sky View room on the 10th floor. (Apologies in advance for the grainy/dark photos)
Exiting the elevator on the 10th floor puts you directly in the club lounge which has a decent amount of seating.

And the coffee station in between the elevator doors is convenient when leaving in the morning (provided there’s not a crowd).
The Skyview room wound up being a room with a wall of windows. Essentially a window/skylight which is pretty cool, though sitting on the couch it did remind me of those fast food restaurant “sunrooms” when I was growing up.
The room was spacious and modern, I dug the historic photos from Denver area. In contrast, the bathroom was surprisingly tiny. Everything was new, but not much space between the door and the toilet.
I did arrive for the tail end of happy hour in the club lounge and decided to check it out.
Sheraton Denver Tech Center Club Lounge Hours
Not a lot of people there on a Sunday night. The Club Lounge had the typical selection of cheese, charcuterie, veggies, and fruit with egg rolls as the hot option.

There was a varied selection of wine and beers for purchase, but after looking at the prices I decided for once to get the bottle of wine as my Platinum amenity instead of the 500 bonus points.
Rushed photos as my picture taking (sans flash) was earning weird looks from fellow guests.
It took almost an hour to arrive, and when it did, I was disappointed. It was BV and just a half bottle. More than enough for that night, but a poor tradeoff for 500 points.
Oh well. It also arrived without a wine opener, so rather than call back down to the desk, I popped over to the lounge. Happy Hour was over, but the attendant was kind enough to open my bottle for me, and even remarked on the downgraded amenity. So if you’re debating between points or the wine, go for the points!
I had a 6AM flight out of Denver the next morning, so I crashed early. I did stop for a minute on the way out to take pictures of the lobby and business spaces. Completely empty at 4 in the morning, it looked spacious and welcoming. If there’s a conference being held there, my guess is it could be a trifle chaotic.

Overall no complaints, a good stay, and the 25 minute drive to the airport was worth saving $100 more than at closer SPG properties.
