I’ll be honest – everyone else is all awww this is the cutest puppy commercial of all time, and I’m just singing along to the Proclaimers at the top of my lungs like an idiot.
The cinematography on this Fiat commercial was cool, but here’s the thing about little tiny cars. They eventually give in to the fact that people would love a little tiny car like a Mini or a Fiat, if only it was bigger. Like a regular sized car.
This commercial did me in – like it captured that awestruck way little kids say “daddy” so very perfectly. I was just about to lose it and cry buckets all over the place until it stopped super abruptly to say MEN BUY SOME DOVE SOAP. Like… the message at the end was a totally brash marketing slap in the face after all the feel good vibes. HEY GUYS BUY SOAP. BECAUSE YOU CARE.
This Doritos ad didn’t sit right with me because guys… when was the last time you got to pick your own seat on an airplane? What is this thing set in, 1999?
I really, seriously, can not tell you how much I hate build your own website services. Like, with a passion. But at the very least, they keep me up to my eyeballs in web design work when someone tries to do it, it goes horribly wrong, and they still need a web site.
Jeff Bridges… You are a bizarre, weird dude. And I do not believe for a second you actually built that website all by yourself on Squarespace in the middle of the forest. Because I’m pretty sure you can afford to hire a web designer.
So wait, the turtle cheated?
Look Geico, you can not give me a three second commercial featuring Salt n Pepa‘s “Push It”. Shell out a couple extra bucks so I can hear more of the song next year please and thank you.
I almost wish I’d seen the GoDaddy commercial everyone was all up in arms about. At least it wasn’t some busty chick selling me the internets for a change.
Weight Watchers is over here saying “Hey you don’t have to eat all those snacks,” and all I hear is SNACKS SNACKS SNACKS SNACKS SNACKS.
So wait, I don’t get it – Nissan’s the car for absentee fathers and the kids that have to deal with that?
And then there was this super depressing one from Nationwide. Enjoy the game, guys, and don’t forget to baby proof your house immediately.
The 2015 Super Bowl commercials weren’t all bad
Every time someone gets beaned in the head with a burrito, I laugh my butt off. Because I’m twelve.
This one is hands down my favorite Super Bowl commercial for 2015. Because you can’t go wrong with Danny Trejo and Steve Buscemi. Ever.
And thanks to the related videos that pop up on YouTube… after checking out all of the 2015 Super Bowl ads we ended up watching fifteen minutes of Minions:
You’re welcome.
