Also, you should be aware that for a few weeks you might have some bruises on the skin area where the varicose veins were, and for some moths (four to six) you might have there tiny red or purple spots that will fade away in time. After the procedure is done you can go back to your normal activities, there is no need for hospitalization and no need for further home treatment besides wearing compression stockings.

In a hospital, professionals will make things easier for you and you will have an increased certainty that this procedure will be performed by the books.
