Ten people in nine to eat too much salt, people eat most of the salt from the ordinary family table or supermarket. Bread is the most salt intake of food.

The report, based on the CDC of the United States, based on a survey of 7200 Americans, including 3000 children, between 2008 and 2007. The survey shows that people eating too much salt channels is concentrated in 10 kinds of food. People from these 10 kinds of food intake of salt, accounting for 44% of the total salt.



The 10 kinds of high salt food is bread, luncheon meats, pizza, processing and raw poultry meat, soup, cheese burgers and sandwiches, cheese, the seven kinds of food accounted for about 7% of the total salt intake. The other three food accounted for intake of about 3% of the total salt. They are: spaghetti and meat dishes, snacks, including potato chips, savory biscuits and popcorn.

However, experts pointed out that the same kind of food, sodium content varies greatly. For example, a slice of white bread can be between 230 to 80 milligrams of sodium. The sodium content of a cup of chicken noodle soup was between 940 and 100 mg. The sodium content of the 3 ounce luncheon meat is between 1050 and 450 mg. This does not means that the above food cannot eat, but to change the cooking or production methods to reduce the sodium content. CDC director Thomas said that if the sodium content of these 10 kinds of food is reduced by 25%, the total amount of sodium in the diet can be reduced by 10%, which can reduce the death of 28000 cases per year.
