The first official trailer of John Wick 2 has brought in the hype train. To add to that, talks about John Wick 3 are taking the Internet by storm. Recently, Director Chad Stahelski sat down for an interview during the New York Comic-Con 2016 and revealed details about the upcoming sequel and the possibility of a third movie.
Plans for John Wick 3 Unveiled
As per Collider, “The studio has asked us to put our heads together and see if we can come up with something. Winston’s [McShane] is a big part of the next one, so is Lance Reddick. We’ve got some ideas,” Stahelski said.
However, Stahelski’s focus is more on the upcoming sequel. He reassured fans that even if fans haven’t seen John Wick for a while, he said that the assassin will deliver far from expectations this time around.
He added, “When it came to coming up with a story idea, we had like ten bad ideas, and they were like, ‘fuck it,’ what would have just happened the next day. Once we stopped worrying about ourselves, it was fun. Is it as good as the first one? I don’t know, that’s personal opinion. Did we go better in some ways? Yes. Did we explore the character more? Yes. It’s better, I think, technically. Is the enjoyment better? Yes, it’s there, but it’s completely different.”
Keanu Reeves will be up against newcomers in John Wick 2 such as Ruby Rose and Laurence Fishburne. Returning cast includes McShane.

Ruby Rose to Take Over?
Ruby Rose won the hearts of many when she was introduced to Orange is The New Black last year. Fans have gone crazy about her and the actress acquired gigs shortly after her TV premiere. She starred in xXX: The Return of Xander Cage and Resident Evil: The Final Chapter.
With John Wick 3 already being planned, there are rumors going around that Reeves’ character will finally retire. If that happens, could Rose take the role as the movie’s lead character?
