I’m a girl who loves music! Whether it’s while I’m on the go or just at home doing some work around the house. I had a need for portable speakers so that I can enjoy music throughout my cozy home. The JBL Flip Portable Stereo Speaker were just the right size; it’s compact, portable, and designed to be used horizontally or vertically.
The Bluetooth speaker works with just about any bluetooth enabled device. I personally tested it with my iMac, Macbook, iPod, two tablets (Kindle Fire HD and Galaxy Tab 3), and my Samsung Galaxy cell phone. They all worked flawlessly. No remote was needed as your bluetooth device will work as a remote.
For it to be such a small speaker, I personally thought the sound quality was amazing! I found it to be louder than my laptop. With over 5 hours of battery time, I was able to enjoy a few Beyonce tracks (who doesn’t love to dance around the house to Beyonce), a movie (World War Z starring the dreamy Brad Pitt), and a quick conversation with one of my friends before it needed to be recharged. Because I like to see how many functions I can discover on my own, I gave my friend a call to see how good the quality was. After holding the phone to my face for half the conversation, I realized that there were built-in speakers which provided a great hands-free experience. My friend informed that my voice was crisp and clear. The hands-free features also works well with Skype and FaceTime. I can see myself using this function a lot more. Overall, the JBL Flip Portable Stereo Speaker by far exceeded my expectations. Although I must say the AC Adapter can be a bit bulky if you need to carry it around. The Flip is available in three colors (White, Red or Black) and comes with a Neoprene material carrying pouch. For a retail price of $99.99, you get a top of the line wireless speaker that does just about everything.
