Hi everyone! Happy August! How have you all been?
Today's post is going to be a review on the Skinmiso Pore Beauty Nose Pack which was kindly sent to me by the awesome people at Cupidrop once again. If you guys don't know, Cupidrop is an online Korean beauty shop based in New York City that carries unique Korean skincare and makeup.
In many of my recent posts I've been saying how my blackheads have gotten worse over these past couple of months and everything I've been trying out so far hasn't been working. Regular pore strips like the Bioré ones (which I hate) hurt and actually enlarge the pores and the COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid actually made my blackheads worse.
Unlike the other products, the Skinmiso Pore Beauty Nose Pack removes blackheads and whiteheads without irritation and actually help to minimize pore size with a simple three step system.
Each pack includes four sheets of the Step 1 mask, four sheets of the Step 2 mask, and a 15ml tube of the Silky Essence (Step 3). What it doesn't include, which is necessary, is a comedone extractor which is fairly cheap and easy to find at drugstores or places like Daiso. I used the COSRX Extrusion Swabs.
How to use:
After cleansing, apply the Step 1 mask on nose and leave it on for 10-15 minutes (I leave it on for 15) This helps to open up the pores and bring blackheads and whiteheads out to the surface.
Use a comedone extractor to extract the whiteheads and blackheads and rinse the nose.
Apply the Step 2 mask and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. This helps shrink and tighten the pores.
Apply the silky essence on your nose which helps control oil.
You can see me use the pack in my skincare routine video at 8:40
Here are pictures of my nose after each step. You can click on the images for a higher resolution image.

You can tell from the pictures that just one use has made my pores cleaner without englarging them unlike the Biore pore strips.
I've actually used up the entire pack and what I've noticed is that it's definitely not a permanent solution as blackheads and whiteheads still form after a couple of days after usage but not only have my pores become cleaner, but over time there have been less and less whiteheads being extracted from the extrusion swabs so I can tell that it's actually working effectively.
There were more when I first used it ><
Likes:
- More effective than pore strips that you have to peel off
- Removes whiteheads and blackheads without enlarging pores
- Actually shrinks the pores
- There were less and less whiteheads and blackheads being produced after using the pack
- Doesn't hurt
- The only thing so far that has actually helped my pores become cleaner
Not-so-likes:
- Nothing much besides the fact that I wish there were more sheets!
I am glad to say this product really worked out well for my skin which is great since I had a disastrous experience with a different product that made my pores worse. After using the Skinmiso pack, my pores has definitely gotten a lot cleaner and look smaller.
I'm a person who is very against Biore pore strips, My Scheming Mask, or any of those pore strips that you have to peel off to take out the blackheads because those make your pores worse! The Skinmiso one is the only one I would ever recommend if you want to remove blackheads and whiteheads on your nose. I really do hate those Biore pore strips (bad experience) and even though it's really fun watching it pull out blackheads and sebaceous filaments, it does not help your pores at all. My sister already purchased this for herself after hearing me rave about it.
So if you're ever in the market for effective blackheads and whiteheads removal from your nose, I recommend this and only this which is pretty huge of me to say but I swear by it!
I hope you guys enjoyed this review and found it helpful. I'm glad to say this has been another successful skincare product review. I'm sorry I'm bombarding you guys with so much skincare reviews these days but I've been getting more into skincare than makeup these days. But don't worry! I'll be sure my next blog post is makeup related or something else other than skincare.
Have a great rest of the week!
xx,
Lily
