I am always excited for Fashion Week season, no matter in which city. I remember 2 years ago, I didn’t know what to expect and I was so nervous to go the a show. Nowadays I feel like a regular Amsterdam Fashion Week attendee, because I haven’t skipped an edition ever since. Special thanks for Fashion Week Nederland, providing the front row seats, so I can make a better report for you here!
Day 1
Opening night is always exciting and exclusive. I had to pleasure to enjoy the first shows with these stunning fashion ladies @Roosvanderaa, @whoisthatblonde & @larissabruin.

I just went to Morocco last month, so I could totally go back to that state of mind when I was watching the Karim Adduci show. He manages to show a mysterious morocco collection with a modern twist. Awesome first show!

14 young designers had the privilege to show a small collection for this competition. The future of Dutch Fashion!
Day 2
— Bol.com magazine launch —
Bol.com launched their new online style magazine during Fashion Week.
— Viva —

— Spijkers & Spijkers —
Spijkers & Spijkers is one of my favorite shows, because I always want all the items in my closet asap. The new ‘Eden’ collection is no different. The paradise inspired collection is like a dream.
I had the change to speak to the sisters Spijkers after the show. When I asked what their favorite items were of the collection they both said they were actually wearing it (see below)!

I’ve been to Tony’s show 4 times already. I notice a darker shift in his designs since last year, while he still manage to keep his signature, sophisticated and flowy pieces in tact with Kim Feenstra as his muze.

The most beautiful catwalk setting goes out to the ‘Afropolitan’ show by Liselore Frowijn. My favorite piece was this awesome coat below <3
Day 4

Last day of Amsterdam Fashion Week I had to see the couture show from Zyanya Keizer. Her craftsmanship is from another level. It was a great idea to do a short collection presentation at the end of the show, so people could see all the details from up close.
