The best iPhone 7 deals this month:
At the top of our guide you’ll see what we’ve chosen as this month’s best value iPhone 7 deals. These are chosen purely on the basis of value – unlike some other sites we don’t manipulate the order of these deals for commercial gain! Underneath the top deals section you’ll see what we’ve chosen to be the best three iPhone 7 deals for each of the four major networks, those being EE, O2, Three and Vodafone.
iPhone 7 32GB | £49.99 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 3GB data | £37 per month
This is a really strong iPhone 7 deal on Vodafone and available from Mobile Phones Direct. You pay the a £37 monthly fee with an upfront cost of only £49.99. 3GB tends to be the sweet spot for people looking for a good balance between cost and allowance and you won’t find a better 3GB deal available on the iPhone 7 right now. Total cost over 24 months is £937.99

iPhone 7 32GB |
£144
£139 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 5GB data | £35.99 on EE
If you want lots of data and you want to be on EE, this is a really good deal relative to the market. The voucher code IP7002 takes the upfront fee down to £139. That’s not what you’d call ‘cheap’ but it is the best value iPhone 7 deal currently available on EE if you need a good data allowance. Total cost over 24 months is £1002.76
View this deal: Black | Silver | Rose Gold | Gold
Voucher code: IP7002
iPhone 7 32GB | £125 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 3GB data | £36.50 per month
This is the best all-round iPhone 7 deal on the O2 network this month. It’s cheaper than last month’s best deal and also offers three times the data so it gets the thumbs up from us. There is a 1GB deal from Carphone Warehouse but it works out more expensive than this one. £125 upfront is perhaps the only bad thing about it, but £36.50 per month for 3GB data is more than fair when you look at what else is out there. Total cost over 24 months is £1001
View this deal: at Mobiles.co.uk
iPhone 7 32GB | £79 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 4GB data | £37 per month
Very strong deal on the Three network here. Not quite as strong as the best iPhone 7 deal on Vodafone but still right up there. £79 upfront is cheaper than average when you account for the reasonable monthly fee of £37 for 4GB data. Particularly good when you note that you can pay the exact same amount at the same site for just 1GB data – shows the importance of being careful when selecting a phone deal. Total cost over 24 months is £967

iPhone 7 32GB | Free upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 10GB data | £40.99 per month
This deal is new this month and offers a big whack of data and crucially also a free phone. It actually works out cheaper over the two years compared to the deal above, provided you don’t mind the £40.99 monthly cost. If we were buying this phone on EE this month, this is the deal we’d go for. Total cost over 24 months is £983.76

iPhone 7 32GB | Free upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 20GB data | £50.99 per month
This deal is the best option on EE if you need mega amounts of data. You get the iPhone 7 for free and then it’s £50.99 for 20GB data and unlimited everything else. Clearly this isn’t a cheap deal but if EE is your network and you need 20GB data this is the cheapest option. Total cost over 24 months is £1223.76

Best iPhone 7 deals on O2 (October 2016)
The network with extras like O2 Priority
iPhone 7 32GB | £125 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 3GB data | £36.50 per month
Total cost over 24 months is £1001

iPhone 7 32GB | £159.99 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 5GB data | £40 per month
If you need a bit more data than 3GB, your best bet is to go for this 5GB deal at Carphone Warehouse. It doesn’t offer the same value as the above deal but it’s cheaper than any other 5GB deal out there for the iPHone 7 on O2. £159.99 upfront is a bit expensive but the £40 monthly fee compensates for that. Total cost over 24 months is £1119.99
View this deal: at Carphone Warehouse
iPhone 7 32GB | £29.99 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 10GB data | £48 per month
If 5GB data just isn’t enough, this is the best 10GB iPhone 7 deal on O2 right now. With your 10GB bundle you also get unlimited calls and texts. Honestly this is an expensive way of buying this phone but if this data package on this network is what you need, this is the best deal. Total cost over 24 months is £1181.99

Best iPhone 7 deals on Vodafone (October 2016)
Offers extras like Spotify and Sky Sports
iPhone 7 32GB |
£139.99
£100 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 6GB data | £37pm
The voucher code makes this the best iPhone 7 deal out there at the moment, not only is it the cheapest but you also get a stack load more data than most of the other deals out there. Use the voucher code IP7001 to slash £39.99 on the upfront cost, reducing it to £100. That’s good value when you consider it’s a £37 monthly fee for a whopping 6GB data. Total cost over 24 months is £988
View this deal: Black | Silver | Rose Gold | Gold
Voucher code: IP7001
iPhone 7 32GB | £49.99 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 3GB data | £37 per month
This is also a really strong iPhone 7 deal on Vodafone – again coming from Mobile Phones Direct. You pay the same £37 monthly fee as above but the upfront fee is £49.99 versis £100. With that £50 saving you also get less data – 3GB instead of 6GB but really 3GB is enough for most people anyway. Great deal. Total cost over 24 months is £937.99
View this deal: at Mobile Phones Direct
iPhone 7 32GB | £99.99 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 12GB data | £42 per month
This is a strong deal if you need more than 10GB data. The £99.99 upfront fee for the iPhone 7 is about average, but £42 monthly for 12GB is better than anything else out there at the moment. It’s not cheap, but it’s good value against the market. Total cost over 24 months is £1107.99

Best iPhone 7 deals on Three (October 2016)
The network with unlimited data
iPhone 7 32GB | £79 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 4GB data | £37 per month
Total cost over 24 months is £967

iPhone 7 32GB | £99 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 12GB data | £39 per month
For only £68 more over the two years you can get 12GB data on Three instead of 4GB. That’s a good option for anyone who wants to be able to stream Spotify and YouTube without worrying too much about how much data you’re using and the extra cost is reasonable. Total cost over 24 months is £1035

iPhone 7 32GB | £89 upfront | Unlimited data, calls and texts | £50 per month
If unlimited is the word you’re looking for, this is the best iPhone 7 deal out there at the moment. Want to save more money? Go SIM only instead:
It can’t have escaped your notice that the iPhone 7 deals went live on Friday. Needless to say, we’ve been through them all and the prices are rather expensive.
You can read about what the best options are on our iPhone 7 deals and iPhone 7 Plus deals pages. But hold on just a minute because there’s actually a much cheaper way to get the iPhone 7 versus getting it on contract with EE, O2 and the rest.
The answer is to buy the phone outright and pair it with a SIM only deal instead. We’ve done the maths and it not only works out cheaper this way… it works out a LOT cheaper. What’s more, if you have an iPhone 6S or any other recent phone to trade in at the same time you might be surprised just how affordable the iPhone 7 suddenly is after all. Let us explain…
Hands on: iPhone 7 review
How to pay as little as possible for the iPhone 7:
The cheapest way to get hold of an iPhone 7 on contract right now is with Mobiles.co.uk and Vodafone – their deal has you paying £99.99 upfront and £37 per month with a 24 month total cost of £987.99. And for all that money, all you get is 500MB data. That’s a bit weak.
The best value deal on contract with 1GB data will cost you £1071.99 over two years, while this deal from Three with 30GB will set you back £1155 in total.
But check this out. Trade in your old phone with Mazuma and you’ll retrieve a healthy amount to spend on your next phone – iPhone 6S trade-ins start at £300 which is excellent. If you then buy the iPhone 7 for an outright cost of £599 at Apple and pair it with a SIM only deal, you could pay as little as £395 in total across two years.
It works out quite a bit cheaper even if you don’t trade in an old phone. Here’s some step-by-step instructions:
1. Trade your existing phone:
As discussed, you can get quite a lot for your iPhone 6S and the place that pays the most is Mazuma. Just make sure your phone looks nearly-new and works properly. An iPhone 6S 16GB gets you £300, the 64GB version is worth £350 and the 128GB version will bag you £400.
You don’t need last year’s iPhone to do this though. An iPhone 6 will bag you £225 for the 16GB version. You can get a good whack for an iPhone SE – starting at £200 for the 16GB model. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will get you £300. Hell, a Samsung Galaxy S6 will fetch you £160 so it’s really worth you trading in like this whatever phone you have currently.
As we said, you could skip this step if you don’t want to get rid of your existing phone – it still works out cheaper to buy the phone on its own with a SIM only deal.
Check your phone: See how much your phone is worth at Mazuma
2. Buy the iPhone 7 outright for £599
Your next task is to buy the iPhone 7 handset on its own. Currently it’s only available from the Apple Store direct and prices are as follows:
iPhone 7 32GB: available for £599
iPhone 7 128GB: available for £699
iPhone 7 256GB: available for £799
If you don’t want to pay this much for the phone – or can’t afford to – then we have the answer to that too. Apple will allow you to put money down (minimum £99) against the phone and pay the rest monthly. It’s available interest free on the iPhone 7 though is only available in store and not available at all on pre-orders so you’d need to wait until after Friday.

3. Buy a SIM only deal
Finally, all you need to do now is bag yourself a SIM only deal which is a far, far cheaper way to use the phone. SIM only deals are available from only £4 per month for 250MB data. But you’ll probably want a bit more than that. With that in mind, here are some recommendations for what look like the best SIM only deals of the moment, followed by a comparison tool for choosing one that’s tailored to your specific needs…
The best SIM only deals available this month
The cheapest 1GB deal: saves £652.99
If 1GB is enough for you, the cheapest deal currently available is on the iD network – it costs just £5 per month. If you’re trading in an iPhone 6S 16GB, buying the iPhone 7 32GB and opting for this deal, it’ll only cost you a grand total of £419 over 24 months.

The cheapest 4GB deal: saves £622.76
If 4GB is more what you’re after, the cheapest SIM only deal going is on the Three network, via Buymobiles.net. Here you’ll pay £9 per month for 4GB data and unlimited calls and texts. You even get £25 cashback! If you’re trading in an iPhone 6S 16GB, buying the iPhone 7 32GB and opting for this deal, it’ll only cost you a grand total of £490 over 24 months.

The cheapest unlimited data deal: saves £568
Hell, if you’re going to save this much money why not go for an unlimited data deal? The cheapest SIM only deal currently available is from GiffGaff and you get unlimited data, unlimited minutes and unlimited texts for just £20 per month. If you’re trading in an iPhone 6S 16GB, buying the iPhone 7 32GB and opting for this deal, it’ll only cost you a grand total of £779 over 24 months

And that’s all there is to it. It’s a bit more hassle than buying the phone on a contract but you save so much money.
Original 09/09/2016 page follows…
The iPhone 7 was revealed by Apple on Wednesday and it looks at first glance like a decent step forward from the iPhone 6S. Gareth is still working on our iPhone 7 review but so far he really likes it.
We found out on Wednesday night that the iPhone 7 would cost £599 to buy outright, but we’ve had to wait 36 hours to find out what the first iPhone 7 deals would be like on contract. The networks and resellers themselves didn’t know what they’d be charging until yesterday afternoon. Apple calls the shots and even controls some retailers’ ability to run offers.
iPhone 7 deals: quick links
Mobiles.co.uk
Carphone Warehouse
Buymobiles.net
Mobile Phones Direct
e2save.com
Dixons Carphone sites are usually a good place to look if you want to take the temperature of the mobile phone deals market. The combined might of Carphone Warehouse, Mobiles.co.uk, e2save and iD Mobile means the group buys in such volume it can use economies of scale to its advantage.
With that in mind, the first Carphone Warehouse iPhone 7 deals that were revealed to us under embargo last night are as follows:
iPhone 7 32GB | £79.99 upfront | unlimited calls and texts | 3GB data | £42 per month on Vodafone | Total cost over 24 months: £1087.99
iPhone 7 32GB | Free upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 1GB data | £47 per month on O2 | Total cost over 24 months: £1128
Deals from all of the other sites are coming through to us right now. Sites to watch are usual suspect resellers Mobiles.co.uk, Buymobiles.net and Mobile Phones Direct as well as CPW’s own network iD Mobile. The big networks are normally a bit more expensive to buy from direct but everyone will likely be a bit of awkward manoeuvring in the early stages. Expect prices to move about a bit until release next Friday and beyond.
Don’t rely on those deals above being the cheapest because they’re probably not – we’re going to spend the next few hours looking through all of the iPhone 7 deals in the UK to pull out what we think are the very best offers. We’ll be back in a bit to replace this article with a full ‘iPhone 7 deals’ page.
iPhone 7 deals quick links: Mobiles.co.uk | Buymobiles.net | Mobile Phones Direct | e2save.com
Original story follows…
It’s not possible to say precisely what the iPhone 7 will cost you on contract just yet – we’re waiting on networks like EE and resellers like Mobiles.co.uk and Buymobiles.net to release their prices. What we do know is that the iPhone 7 deals will be available for pre-order this coming Friday with an ‘on sale’ date of September 16th which is Friday next week.
In the meantime we can make some educated guesses about what the first iPhone 7 deals might be like.
Firstly, we do know that the iPhone 7 will cost £599 to buy outright in the UK. That comes in exactly as we predicted last week – slightly more expensive than last year probably due to a slightly weaker pound (thanks Brexit!).
From this we can attempt to derive the cost of a standard iPhone 7 deal at a site like Mobiles.co.ukbased on last year’s iPhone 6S launch deals and the slight increase in cost this time around.
iPhone 7 retail deals: starting at £599
Available to buy instore and online on September 16th
We don’t need to try and predict the price anymore – Apple has confirmed that the iPhone 7 will have a starting cost of £599 in the UK. That’s if you want to buy it from the Apple Store itself and it’ll probably cost the same amount for the first few weeks whether you get it from Amazon or Carphone Warehouse.
The £599 price tag is what you’ll pay for the 32GB version of the iPhone 7. That is, of course, unless you want the new Jet Black iPhone 7 which is annoyingly unavailable in 32GB trim – presumably that’s Apple predicting it’ll be the most desirable new colour and charging a premium as a result. Or maybe the less cynical explanation is that shiny black costs more to produce… you decide.
Either way, if you want that version you’ll have to go for a 128GB option which will cost you £699 (across all colours) while the bumper 256GB version will set you back another hundred quid at £799.
iPhone 7 contract deals: what to expect
Pre-orders available September 9th, delivery September 16th
If we’re to predict what the early iPhone 7 deals will be on contract, we can look at the prices that EE, O2 and company were charging for the iPhone 6S in September last year.
Back then, the deals were hard to find with anything less than a £100 upfront cost. Even then, monthly fees of over £40 were the norm. The cheapest deal with 1GB data was on Three – that network was charging £99 upfront and £38 per month for 1GB and unlimited everything else. That’s about what we’d expect to see this time around as well, though because the retail cost is slightly more this year we’re expecting the iPhone 7 deals from resellers and networks to be a tad pricier as well.
The deals will start coming through Thursday night/Friday so we’ll let you know as soon as we find out what they are. In the meantime, here’s our prediction:
iPhone 7 predicted deals:
iPhone 7 32GB | £100 upfront | Unlimited calls and texts | 1GB data | £40 per month
Obviously don’t count your chickens on this one – we’ll be back when the pre-order deals are actually announced to help you find the absolute best value iPhone 7 deals. We’ll also be working hard to negotiate some exclusive discounts just for TechRadar readers so that you’ll be able to save some money.
