If you are anything like me then breakfast casseroles are not something to do often. I am an oatmeal- making mama, and the only question I ask my small people is, “do you want it with brown sugar or peanut butter?” However, I love the occasional deliciousness of gooey-sugary bliss on a breakfast plate, and maybe an egg white omelet on the side for good measure. As you might have guessed, this week’s featured posts include breakfast casseroles, and also French toast, and combined it is: 6 Weekend Breakfast Recipes.
The weekend Breakfast Casserole Recipe would be a perfect brunch recipe, and reminds me of my favorite quiche–without the crust. Butterscotch French Toast Bake looks so yummy, it is the combination of butterscotch and the graham crackers that make this so appetizing and tempting!
Additionally, Blueberry Cream Cheese French Toast Bake is my weekend dream breakfast. I may pass this recipe along to my husband with the hope of sleeping-in and waking up to this dreamy-blueberry-laden dish, and tall cup of coffee. For those of us who tend to be gluten-sensitive (or intolerant) we have Gluten-Free Cinnamon French Toast Bites, and it looks so simple to make for a little weekend-breakfast treat.
For the more savory breakfast connoisseur, Cheesy Egg and Hash Brown Cups look so appetizing, and filling. The recipe has a runny egg yolk–over crispy hash browns and a bed of bacon, and that equals absolute perfection. Also featured is simple Breakfast Casserole Bites. I like this recipe because it looks so easy, and an excellent option for an on-the-go morning (which is most mornings for me).
