6 Healthy and Delicious Family Recipes
This week we have 6 Healthy and Delicious Family Recipes that your family will love! The blogger’s for this week have made recipes that are fantastically simple, and creative, but the best part is that they look so appetizing. I make all sorts of “weird concoctions” as my husband would call them– to help me in my healthy lifestyle, but my husband and kids will only eat what looks appealing. Therefore, my greatest challenge is not what I like–because I can like most anything in the name of health and wellness, but the real question is what will my family like?
Our recipes this week include: Skinny Alfredo with Chicken and Broccoli, and I’m very eager to try this! Also featured: Honey-Salmon Baked in Foil–this recipe looks so simple and satisfying. Additionally, Baked Tilapia Fish Tacos. This recipe looks so good, and I have a feeling that my husband might actually try this! I love seafood, but my husband does not, and so I often skip making it and just order it when we are out for a date night, but this might just pass the test.
In addition, Hidden Vegetable Sloppy Joes! This is ingenious, and it still looks so good. I doubt that my kids would even be able to tell that vegetables are hidden within.
Also, If you enjoy having a little “no cheat” treat that sort of tricks you into believing that you’re eating something naughty, but really it’s nourishing; then these: 2 Ingredient No Bake Cupcakes might just be your next little “treat.” I make a lot of “mama treats,” and tell my kids to eat a cookie, so wrong I know, but these might pass the kid test too, they certainly will pass the mom test.
Finally, we have a dessert recipe for Flourless Chocolate Torte Recipe, while I couldn’t call this recipe healthy–it does have sugar, but I love that it is flourless–which means that I can have it, and my entire family will love it–which is a big win!
