Charleston Restaurant Week

January 7, 2015 - January 18, 2015Various locations around Charleston

Pause your New Year’s Resolution of eating healthy, working out, and spending less, for just one week—-Charleston Restaurant Week, sponsored by Greater Charleston Restaurant Association. If you didnt participate last year, be sure to this year. We definitely suggest making reservations in advance and visiting the website for more details on offers on their website. Almost all the restaurants downtown participate which makes it a great opportunity to indulge in some of the most sought after restaurants and cuisines without paying the usual big buck it costs.

BÁSICO

(3 Courses for $20)

BÁSICO is located in North Charleston at the Mixson Bath and Racquet Club. Its worth the drive because the food is locally grown and flavorful, oh and the atmosphere and architecture of the location is simple, but stunning.

Indaco

(3 Courses for $35)

Indaco in Charleston is one of our favorite Italian restaurants on the list this year. Indaco is delicious, but some find it pretty pricey for pizza and pasta.

The Americano

(3 Courses for $25)

The Americano is a newly opened Latin-inspired restaurant that has received countless reviews and raves these last few months over the Cuban cuisine and decor. If you’ve been thinking about trying it, but $10-$11 for 2 tacos has sounded too steep, try the restaurant deal. Everything from the details on the menu, to the wallpaper and structure of the building is a work of art worth seeing in person; pleasantly retro, tropical and chic. In general, the restaurants by The Indigo Road Hospitality and Consultation company have some of the finest food and atmosphere in Charleston. O-Ku, Oak Steakhouse, and The Macintosh are a few from The Indigo Road participating in restaurant week. As for new restaurants, we suggest two restaurants that aren’t on the radar yet: Zero Cafe + Bar ($45 per Person) and Cannon Green ($35 per Person).
