"THE WOLVERINE" Hugh Jackman reprises his role from previous films as the mutant title character, with James Mangold directing. After being stripped of his immortality, Wolverine must battle deadly samurai as well as his inner demons. PG-13 (126 mins.)

"THE TO DO LIST" A romantic comedy about a high school senior who feels she needs to have more sexual experiences before she starts college. Featured are Aubrey Plaza, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Rachel Bilson. R (103 mins.)

"FILL THE VOID" From Israel, this is a romantic conflict of family duty and the heart. A would-be bride has her wedding postponed when her sister dies in childbirth and her brother-in-law threatens to leave the country with the child. The family wants her to marry the widower. She prefers her real love. It was an Oscar nominee as best foreign language film last year. PG (90 mins.)

"FRUITVALE STATION" Based on a true story of Oscar Grant, it examines the life - and death - of this young man who was shot by cops in an Oakland BART station on the last day of 2006. R (90 mins.)

"THE KINGS OF SUMMER" Three teenage boys seek to escape their oppressive, idiotic adults by building a house in the woods and living on the land. It's the latest of many imports from the Sundance Film Festival. R (95 mins.)
