i feel like an imbecile now, as i had apparently wrongly assumed that my appeal would appear at the top, not the bottom of the page of inquiry and speech. I apologize for the misunderstanding and hope it did not complicate anything, although that is wrather unlikely.

Hay, about that CCS-class/Assault Carrier thing, in the "Departure" video if you look closly you can see the CRS-class light cruisers flying in front of it. If that thing realy was a CCS-class battlecruiser, those little CRS's would be the sizes of Banchees. It's diffenetly something other than a CCS-class and has to be some new carrier. Trust me I just watched the video.

Hi. Apologies that you had to edit my user pic when I joined this morning. I was going to get to reviewing the wiki rules after setting up my account. Wasn't aware at the time I had to preface my image with "USER_", so thanks, and again sorry.

I have a question about how the wiki page works. I just updated an entry on an "Unnamed frigate". It was using the dimesnions of another class of frigate than the one depicted. I'm still new at the wiki-style editing, but used what formatting was there and just changed the values. However, wiki must use a different conversion than some to change meters to feet. If I put the correct meters value in, the feet units are not correct. Ex. 490m should be 1607ft but 490m is converted to 1600ft instead. in fact the feet count is what should be considered correct and the translation should be into meters. Is there a way to correct this?

==MAC Page, wrong info, acceptable?==

I have a curret edit for the http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Magnetic_Accelerator_Cannon and before I do it I wanted to give you specific reasons. I have been using the wiki as my main reference source for information I cannot directly access with my own references for some particular comparisions for a crossover battle. Point being, I assumed the standard MAC had known energy output but upon buying the ''Halo Encyclopedia'' and realizing some of the numbers were wrong, went back to the page. Then I went to the talk page and realized there was a huge, huge argument going on about listing exact joules of energy released with no reference. This is "original research" and is not to wikipedia standards anywhere I've been (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:No_original_research ). Then I found out there are members who were editing canon material '''''on purpose''''', because the numbers "weren't believable". So the wiki page has original research of numbers based upon fan-made calculations against actual canon material.

I understand pointing out discrepencies in the canon material in any fictional universe, but to change a wiki pages' information and lie about canon material because you personally don't agree with it is not acceptable, while putting in your own personal calculations to come up with wrong misinformation. ==Halo 4 ODST Armour==

Hey Karl.

We both seem to love the ODST branch of the UNSC, so I guess I will ask you this.

What's your opinion on the re-make of the ODST armour in Halo 4? In my, personal opinion, I think 343i f'ed it up big time. Not the Torso, the torso does look really good, especially as they added the backpack for the first time, to make you look like an ODST. But what they did to the shoulders and helmet are unforgivable. Would it have really hurt to keep the same models and tweak them graphically (as to fit in with Halo 4, not actually change the model)?

As I said before, just asked you this because you seem to enjoy the ODST branch as well as myself.

The Fall of Reach doesn't have any CURRENT errors or "plagarism" in it after the reprint. Although i agree with you about the Encyclopedia. However, it is still considered a legitimate source of canon. Sadly...LOL

== Health ==

There are two possibilities.

# ''Halo 4'' uses the same numerical values for health, shielding, and damage as ''Halo 3'' and ''Halo: Reach,'' being 45 health and 70 shielding.

# ''Halo 4'' (and possibly ''Halo: Reach'') applied some arbitrary multiplier to all of these values (such as having 90 health, 140 shielding, and double all of the weapon damage) despite the fact that it makes weapon damage harder to compare between games and despite the fact that there would be absolutely no actual gameplay impact.

And even if the second possibility is indeed the truth, until there is an official say-so of "actually it's 90–140 now," the 45–70 values at least give some kind of grounding so people discussing weapon damage don't have to resort to something asinine like "the Storm Rifle deals 13.571% of shielding, or 23.75% of health, per shot." Instead you can just say "the Storm Rifle deals 9.5 damage per round" and then players can compare that to other weapons like the 14-damage Covenant Carbine or 17.5-damage Magnum.

If the ratio of health to shielding had changed somehow, then I wouldn't be quite so insistent on the topic, but given that it's identical, I see no reason whatsoever to shut out a solid, comparable, nice-number trailblazing statement so peerlessly bold as "''Halo 4'' uses 45 health points and 70 shield points."

Furthermore, if it's such a problem to you that you absolutely cannot allow it, then consider going through all of the ''Halo: Reach'' weapons that I added damage values to some time ago and reverting all of those, because giving usable and tested information like that to players is just unacceptable if we don't know the actual otherwise-equivalent number used inside the game's code. {{User:ProtonZero/Signature}} 08:00, November 26, 2013 (UTC)
