Hello, I'm Steeve and I am the owner of a mostly serious Halo roleplaying server in the game Garry's Mod. We're a relatively new server so we don't have many players, and we are currently trying to build that playerbase up. So if you have Garry's Mod and never gave HaloRP or role-playing in general, then come check out our server! (IP address below)
For those that don't know, HaloRP is a gamemode in Garry's Mod in which you play as your own original character (or sometimes a canon character) inside of the Halo universe. You start out as a Private (PVT) and work your way up in the ranks by taking part in events, that range from small operations to large-scale wars. You'll be taking the orders at first, and eventually, you'll be GIVING the orders! You might even find yourself in charge of a different division or Corps! There are a range of different divisions and paths you can take beside from the UNSC Marine Corps once you've met the requirements. For example you can become a CQB Marine who focuses on close-quarters combat with his M45D Tactical Shotgun, or you can become a Marksman, who stays back afar with an SRS99D-S2 AM Sniper Rifle, and pick off targets from a distance. Outside of Marines, there are ODSTs, Spartan IVs, Spartan IIIs, and many more!
The server is ran by BlackLightNation, my community. BlackLightNation is a sister-community to "REPLEX" (not Reeplex). At BlackLightNation, we try to bring the best possible experience we can to our community, as well as listen to it as much as we can. At BlackLightNation, EVERYONE'S important! The community is also currently owned by me, and co-owned by my partner, Rooks.
What makes our HaloRP server different than the dozens of other HaloRP servers? Well, our server focuses on bringing the most lore-wise, realistic HaloRP experience that we can. At BlackLightNation's HaloRP, we believe that if you work and fight hard, you get rewarded with promotions, and better positions (e.g. ODST, Spartan IV, etc.). Although, it is officially "Mostly-Serious", so during down-time, you can mingle and hang out with your friends and fellow marines, but when it's time to be serious (e.g. Event, Physical Training session, etc.) then you better be serious.
