I am trying to connect this printer wifi, the light showing that the printer is on doesn't light up so the screen doesn't either.
My modem is wifi so it should work. I have the cd that came with the printer and also downloaded a driver but it still doesn't work.
I have another printer which is connected to the computer but it is turned off.
In the control panel of my computer it only shows the Epsom printer not the new HP.
Add a printer - add a network, wireless or bluetooth printer - install the printer driver - HP Officejet 5740 - have disk - next
Finally it is showing in devices and printers but it says Status: Needs troubleshooting - Status Printer: error
So what do I have to do now?
