Senior Leader, Project Manager/Editor, Professional Services firm

Global professional services firm requires a Project Manager/Editor to take responsibility for the firm's internal digital platform that represents a resource to inform, educate, share, network and empower partners and staff with knowledge and insights into the external trends (megatrends) that affect the business of their clients and that of the firm. This is a leadership position that is critical to the success of the platform.

There are two key areas of responsibility that require the right mix of skills to deliver successfully in this role:

•Editor – responsible for overall content strategy of the platform, including content identification and prioritization, publication schedule, content planning and management, content quality assurance, liaison with the firm's experts and their teams , convening workshops with SMEs to develop the content strategy and liaison with external experts to solicit input as needed

•PMO – overall responsibility for the platform‘s day-to-day management, including – content, IT platform, stakeholder management, vendor liaison and management as needed, issue resolution

As part of the role, the individual would be required to organize and support the platform sponsor in leading SME workshops. These workshops, with the participation of cross-Service Line and cross-Sector experts, are designed to develop a ‘cohesive narrative' for each broad theme (megatrend) on the platform and shape the overall content strategy.

With responsibility for the platform's overall operations, this role involves leadership of the virtual cross-functional and cross-border platform team, ongoing stakeholder management and influencing peers and colleagues in a matrix organizational structure. The jobholder is also responsible for establishing and maintaining links and alignment with other, related global initiatives, participating in them to ensure consistency with those initiatives. This is likely to include the broader review of the digital content and publishing strategy that the firm is undertaking.

The jobholder will play the key role in driving evolution of the platform's features and reflecting user feedback, liaising with IT and with the external vendor to implement technical enhancements in line with business requirements. The individual will also act as a platform's “owner” when managing user engagement through the dedicated mailbox and / or the social media features of the site.

To be considered for this role you will need to have the following skills and experience:

•Stakeholder management

•Understands requirements for content in different media formats and works with relevant teams (internal and external) to achieve agreed content mix

•Demonstrated experience working at a senior level in a fast-moving, client-driven environment

•Highly seasoned project management skills and experience of leading initiatives in matrix business organizations

•Ability to take ownership for delivering projects with a high degree of autonomy and manage multiple, highly-complex projects simultaneously

•Collaborative and able to work well both as part of a team and independently

•Exceptional written and oral communication skills

•Advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

•Leads multidisciplinary teams, often working virtually across service lines and geographies

•Limited direct supervision responsibility but must work with, motivate and cultivate a high-performance teaming environment with analysts in a global, multi-cultural and virtual environment

•Reviews the work of colleagues and mentors their skills development
