New role! A global professional services provider offering research, analytics, and data management services require a Workflow/Research Coordinator to join their newly created team. This role will cover 4 major areas, business research services, training services, vendor management support and intranet content management.

Specific responsibilities include:

•Working on research requests and overseeing work done by more junior team members, ensuring that requestors have a good experience interacting with the team through the efficient delivery of results, with high quality standards and value addition (the onsite Workflow/Research Coordinator may at times also be required to lead/work on projects/requests that involve a mix of onsite and offsite team members)

•Engaging face-to-face with key Client stakeholders to understand client requirements

•Building working relationships across the firm and working with requestors to understand their requests, proposing research approaches directly to requestors or proposing research approaches and providing guidance to the team (onsite and/or offsite)

•Setting up alerts as and when necessary, from a number of databases

•Coordinating work with onsite (research and other onsite teams) and offsite teams as and when required

•Overseeing/providing research support using tools that are not available to offsite team members

•Working with the Onsite Research Manager on staffing level planning based on immediate and long term requirements

•Reviewing training materials along with the Onsite Research Manager and other onsite team members and making sure they are as up-to-date and relevant as possible before each training programme cycle

•Rehearsing training sessions as many times as necessary to feel that the sessions are being delivered confidently

•Being fully aware and trained on the content being delivered, as well as on training practices (train the trainer training) before each training cycle

•Cross-training other team members, so as to have at least one back-up trainer for each core trainer on every training cycle

•Making sure the Onsite Research Manager is aware of the dates of each training programme as soon as dates are confirmed by our Client.

•Update content on the wiki relating to research

•Create content for the wiki relating to research

•Ensure that wiki content is relevant and current

To be considered for this role you will need to have the following skills and experience

•Educated to degree level

•At least 3 years of strong business research (and analysis) experience

•Experience in Rapid and qualitative research, including extensive experience in databases (Such as Thomson one, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Nexis, etc.)

•Strong analytical skills (with a value-add mindset) – Experience on data analysis (particularly financial) and generation & analysis of statistics

•Excellent English communication, listening, and writing skills

•Strong project management skills/experience

•Strong client relationship management skills (proven record of successful client-facing roles or onsite experience)

•Experience working in an international/multicultural environment would be desirable

•Experience working with international teams and those spread across multiple locations would be desirable

•Experience providing training
