The House Committee on Homeland Security has passed bipartisan legislation to enhance communications and improve the accountability and transparency of Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Coast Guard, and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

The bill, which was introduced by New Jersey Democratic Representative Donald Payne, Jr., was unanimously passed with an amendment to strengthen air travel security by providing incentives for countries to report data on lost and stolen travel documents.
