Spa Review: The Red Lane Spa, Sandals Regency La Toc, St Lucia

Situated in the luxury resort of Sandals Regency La Toc on the tropic Caribbean island of St Lucia, lies the Red Lane Spa. Boasting a treatment menu that is sure to entice every couples need for romantic relaxation. This tropical hideaway also provides the perfect escape for the girls whilst their keen golfer husbands are playing the resorts award winning 9 hole golf course.
For my Tropical Bliss treatment (the spa’s signature treatment) i arrived 15 minutes prior to my booking time to fill in registration forms whilst lounging by the spa’s plunge pool (which is open 24/7) and sipping iced apple and watermelon water.
Perita my therapist showed me to the changing area and i slipped into my spa dressing gown and flip flops (no fluffy slippers needed here!) and headed into the tranquil treatment room filled with pretty candles which scattered the floor.
My treatment started off by inhaling deeply with aromatic scents to start my journey of pure relaxation. My blissful back massage was followed by an application of cooling muscle gel to further ease any tension and a hot towel was placed over my back to allow the gel to absorb and work deep into the muscles. The massage followed onto my legs, neck, shoulders arms and abdomen with a scalp and face massage finishing the 50 minute Tropical Bliss treatment.
Left to get dressed with more iced apple water to hydrate and help rid toxins, i left the spa in a complete relaxed daze. I’ll be back to visit Perita for more heavenly pampering in the next few days, as after all it would be rude not to let the hubby sample some more of the beautiful golf course!
