“Music at the Library” Free Summer Music Program Series

Come to the Greenwich Free Library this summer and have fun exploring music through stories, games, crafts, demonstrations & hands-on activities!

The instructor is Bonnie Ross, whose résumé of music programs include: “Sound Waves: Totally off the Scale” (Greenwich Library, 2010); “Journey into Music” (Hubbard Hall, 2011); and the music segments of “Arts of Ireland” (Hubbard Hall, 2012).

This program is free and is geared towards ages 6-11. It runs on Saturdays from 10:30-11:30 AM, from June 9th – July 7th, 2012. Please call the library at (518)-692-7157 to sign up.

Email Notifications

Because of patron demand, we will begin offering email notifications of when items are almost due. If you receive interlibrary loan notifications by email now, you will automatically begin to receive notifications of when your items are almost due starting May 25. The reminder will arrive in your email box 3 days before the item is due.

Regrettably, there is no ability for patrons to “opt out” of this service if they do not wish to receive these reminders. If you do not wish to receive email reminders, you will have to go back to being a telephoned patron.

Our Support of E-books & E-audios

Libraries in the Southern Adirondack Library System were asked to contribute at least 2% of their materials budget or up to $1,000, to help support the development of the downloadable e-book and e-audio collection.
