Fifth grade Beacon graduates Alexandra Diamond from Scarsdale, N.Y., Cordelia McKenna from Greenwich and Alexandra Slogoff from South Salem, N.Y. with Beacon Head of School Meredith Hafer.

High school, eighth and fifth grade graduates were all celebrated at the Greenwich Education Group Schools’ graduation ceremony held June 6 at the Innis Arden Golf Club.

This was the fourth annual high school graduation for Beacon Pinnacle and Spire students. As an integral part of the ceremony, every senior had the opportunity to speak their words of inspiration and gratitude.

“Our graduation ceremony reflects the missions of our three schools as well as the individual spirit of each graduate. It’s a joy for us as educators to have the opportunity to celebrate the unique accomplishments of these accomplished young people,” Beacon Head of School Meredith Hafer said.

“It is with great pride that Spire presents its largest graduating class of our four-year history,” Spire School Executive Director Tammy Moscrip said. “I have been personally impressed by our students’ hard work, their positive contributions to the GEG schools’ culture, their enthusiasm to help new students feel at-home in our schools, and their patience, adaptability and open-mindedness. While we will greatly miss our graduating seniors, we know that they will go on to pursue and accomplish lofty goals!”

Greenwich Education Group Schools offer a variety of educational environments for students. Their goal is to help young minds develop a life-long love of learning. Each school has a program tailored to meet the unique needs of the students.

The Spire School was established for students in grades six to 12 who are experiencing social-emotional challenges that interfere with their academic progress, confidence, and motivation. The Spire School educates students holistically and strives to provide an environment in which students thrive academically, emotionally, and socially, as they partake on a journey to truly “Know Thyself.”
