Children & Youth Pastor Candidate—The elders at Grace would like to present Shaun King as our candidate to fill out the need for a pastor over children and youth ministries. Shaun is currently serving our church as an elder. The fact that he is part of our body presents both unique advantages and challenges. Please enter the process of filling this important position with us by praying, communicating and grabbing additional information from the Welcome Center. The Audio from the June 30th and July 3rd, Q&A sessions with Shaun is available at our blog. Grace Mom’s Sign Up—Grace Mom’s is getting ready to start back up again! They are a group of moms of children under the age of five (and expectant mothers) who meet on the first Wednesday of the month from September to May to study the Word, pray for, and encourage each other in the high calling of motherhood. To sign-up, call Rachel Wooten (621.2989) or Kellie Eikenberry (621.2057) or visit the Welcome Center. The deadline for sign-ups is July 28, 2013.
Evangelism Training—If you are wanting to be better equipped to reach your community with the gospel, consider attending our evangelism training. We want to get you the tools and training needed to help in sharing your faith. We will meet @ 6pm at Greenville Grace on the first Friday of each month (starting in June). Welcome to Grace Class—If you enjoy coming to Grace and would like to learn more about who we are, where we’ve come from, and what we hold to, we are offering a three-session class on August 12, August 26 and September 9 (all Mondays) from 6:30-8:30pm here at the church. While this class is required for those pursuing membership at Grace, it is open to all who are interested in learning more about Greenville Grace Church. Long Story Short—This week’s lesson : Week 43 (Rahab’s Help) Your Children’s Church teacher will spend time working through the basic storyline of this week’s lesson. The lessons in Long Story Short (the book all of our classes use) are broken into 5 days to help facilitate a consistent, Gospel-centered family devotion time in your home.

Missionary of the Month Ways to pray for and support the missionaries among us : Aaron and Mandy Wolfe
Aaron (son of Tim and Evelyn) and Mandy Wolfe with their seven children will be departing September 2, 2013 to serve for 6 months at Bethany Village in Uganda. Bethany Village is home to over 100 orphans and consists of a church, 10 orphan homes, a school, farm, and clinic. The Wolfe Family is seeking God’s will regarding long-term missionary service during this trip. While at Bethany, they will be helping with electrical and physical improvements of the homes, marketing the resources of the village and helping evangelize and disciple children.
