Tong Pak Fu (糖百府) Hong Kong Dessert is hitting the Malaysian market by storm with Tong Pak Fu’s award winning snow ice series and their best sellers – traditional hot dessert. I am sure that many of you who have visited Hong Kong would know that Hongkies love their desserts very much, so much so that some dessert house in Hong Kong opens up to 2am in the morning. Dessert is a serious business in Hong Kong. While other dessert houses like Hui Lau Shan (許留山) and Lucky Dessert (發記甜品) specialises in Mango flavoured desserts and durian desserts and Krisps, Tong Pak Fu specialises in traditional hot desserts, snow ices and western desserts.

This dessert is well known for its nourishing values, snow fungus contains gelatine and protein It is said to aids blood circulation, increase metabolism, whiten and moisturise the skin.
The orange-hued Papaya on the other hand is rich in Vitamin C , and it helps to boost the body's immune system.
Snow Pear with Dried Citrus Peel RM7.80

Both the dried citrus peel and snow pear boost the effect of clearing phlegm and reducing cough.
It is nourishing and able to relieve heat. This dessert will definitely help you stay healthy and young.
I love both of my double boiled dessert to be served chill.
Besides traditional chinese desserts, TPF also serves Western desserts. They want to ensure their customers are enveloped with pure bliss as they offer only their best dainty creations.
Creme Brûlée - RM6.80
Made with egg, white sugar and vanilla seeds.
The surface layer of this pudding is covered with a thin caramelised crust, yet the centre remains chilled and smooth.
It has a distinctive flavour of eggs. Rich and intensely creamy. More vanilla flavour will start to creep in as you dig in to the bottom of the dessert.
Walnut Brownies with Vanilla Ice Cream - RM10.80
Walnut, Chocolate Brownies, Vanilla Ice Cream
The brownies resembling a cross between a cake and a cookie in texture. I enjoyed savouring the warm brownies together with the tangy vanilla ice cream, they both complimented each other.
Well, that's not the best dessert you can find in TPF.
TPF specializes in using ice blocks to produce a fluffy, smooth and twirl like texture shave ice. It is served with a shower of side toppings, jellies, fresh fruits, sago, rice balls and the list goes on.
Chocolate Snow Ice with Watermelon - RM7.20
(watermelon, sago , and grass jelly)
The grass jelly is well known to help cool down the body, to aids digestion, lower high blood pressure and it is very low in calories.
The snow ice paired with a selection of fresh fruits, translucent and chewy sago pearls . An ideal dessert on a scorching-hot day.
To the Taiwanese, Snow Ice is commonly used whilst Hongkies usually call it ''Fluffy Ice or Cotton Ice''. What sets this apart from the traditional desserts is its appearance.
Served as layers and layers of light and fluffy snow ice delicately pile up on the plate that melts softly in the mouth with a delightful cooling sensation.
Regular Banana Snow Ice. RM8.80
Consist of banana snow ice, bananas, maruko and marshmallow.
A new product on the menu. This particular dessert is enrich with the purest taste of banana. Very cooling and tasty.
Tracka Durian Ice . RM11.80
Tracka Durian Snow Ice as clearly indicated by its name is made of our very own local Tracka durian. Unlike the Malaysian ice kacang which is made of water and artificial flaor, Tong Pak Fu's snow ice is actually made from the juices which were extracted from the fruits itself , then mixed with imported skimmed milk. The plus factor here is that NO SUGAR was added in this process. How healthy, you see...?
Consist of Grass Jelly, Lychee monster Bean, Aloe Vera Jelly, and cornflakes.
The flavour of durian was so potent and rich.
The lingering taste of durian can easily last for hours, make sure you don't kiss your spouse after having this. ;P
Just when you thought the selection is endless, Tong Pak Fu introduces to you light snacks for the nibblers! As simple as it looks, these curry fish balls are amazing! They are bouncy, and the aroma of the curry gravy was.....Mmmmhmmm ...
