Can anyone explain the oil capacity as listed in the owner's manual? I clearly removed ~3.75 quarts. The manual states the capacity to be 2.7 quarts. However, it also says it's 3 liters which actually converts to 3.2 quarts. I have read there were unit conversion errors in the manuals. However what are they trying to say here if we can clearly extract so much more?
Page out of service manual shows the correct conversion from 3 L to 3.2 quarts. However, there is a second capacity listing showing 4.5 L (4.8 qt (U.S. liq.)) total. I have read this is a "dry" engine. So are we leaving about a quart in the engine when we change the oil?
