Job Title – Qualified Social Worker – Child Services – Child Protection

Rate - £25 -30/hour Limited
Our client in the Gateshead are looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Safeguarding, Care and Planning Team.
Your main job duties will include
• Report writing and assessments
• Conduct core assessments and work with children who have Child Protection plans; experience of Court work would be beneficial as this can be a big part of the work the team do
• Safeguard children under the Child Protection or Court Frameworks
• Carry complex cases and care plans
• Undertake risk assessment and management
• Direct work with families and other professionals to implement Child Protection plans
• Chairing core group meetings
• Completing S37 reports and following through with legal proceedings
What we require from you –
• Suitable candidates must be a qualified social worker (DipSw, CSw etc..)
• All appointments are subject to CRB clearances
