RIG are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity that has emerged in a leading local authority in the North West. They are looking for a Qualified Social Worker for a post that has come up in their Adult teams.

The roles is based within a hospital setting and is for a temporary contact amounting to a period of 3 months with an opportunity for extension. It is a part time position amounting to 18 hours a week.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an individual who is; a qualified social worker with expertise in adult care management, either pre or post qualifying. University placements would not be transferrable as experience.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED?

A qualifying degree within the social care sector

DUTIES

Managing and handling a caseload both independently and part of a team

Liaising with third parties within a multi-agency framework

Reviewing service user needs and requirements and implementing policies and procedures to realise the most effective way to action them

Design and implementation of individual care plans to provide a 360 degree service to the users

REQUIREMENTS

HCPC registration

Current enhanced CRB/DBS dated within the last 12 months

Post qualifying experience as a social worker is advantageous

Car driver is a pre-requisite as role may require visits

Rates of pay are per hour, paid by hour via limited company or Umbrella ONLY (this includes holiday and NI)
