An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced social worker as a Consultant Practitioner. The job will be based in a large local authority in Hampshire.
The main focus of this job will be to support practitioners in developing their social work expertise and helping them foster autonomy in their own job roles. Within this the candidate will carry out inductions for new staff members, Ensuring that all members of staff understanding their role within safeguarding vulnerable children and their families.The consultant practitioner will ensure that the views of children and their parents/carers are properly embedded in all aspects of Social Work tasks. You may also maintain a small caseload of complex cases so as to keep your own practice current. You will represent your team at various service promotions and training events so as to be well resourced to share up to date learning.
The successful candidate for this job will have the ability to mentor other staff members to achieve quality social work interaction. You will aim to be an inspirational, committed and motivated individual whose ambition is to shape the changing face of social work.
