We are now recruiting for a Neighbourhood Services Officer in Cornwall for a 2/3 month temporary contract. £12 – 14 per hour.
An opportunity has arisen to join an established team, working within a well respected and thriving Housing Association, as a temporary Neighbourhood Services Officer
Requirements and Responsibilities:
All aspects of generic housing management for a patch of 500+ tenants and leaseholders
Estates and tenancy management and monitoring
Carrying out estate inspections and tenancy checks
Assisting in arrears monitoring, recovery and initiating court processes where necessary
Dealing with void management, void turnaround, selection of tenants for void properties and prompt allocations of voids
Responsible for lettings of properties, garages and verification of housing applicants
Engaging in tenant consultation, tenant participation and tenant involvement ensuring tenants are aware of changes effecting them
Driving community development
Writing reports and keeping accurate records and administration
Essential Skills:
Driver with access to their own car
Social housing sector experience
MS Office and computer system skills
Highly Desirable Skills:
Strong demonstrable front line housing management experience
