We are looking for a Business Enterprise Project Manager to work an an initial 12 month contract for a Housing Association based in Portishead, North Somerset,
The organisation is a social housing provider based in the South West of England. Their vision is to be the leading social enterprise in the West of England, recognised for creating innovative and suitable solutions that improve the quality of life of people within its operating area. They have approximately 6,500 homes and employ over 300 staff.
The role of Business Enterprise Project Manager will be vital in delivering this objective, by developing and managing the organisations apprentice, traineeship, work experience and social enterprise programmes.
You will also manage the organisations cleaning based social enterprise, playing a key role in business development, new work practices and building a high performance team. You will need to balance both the delivery of commercial and social outcomes with a particular focus on vulnerable and marginalised groups that face barriers to employment.
Applicants will be able to display a track record meeting the following criteria through experience or transferable skills.
Experience and proven success in an entrepreneurial business / social enterprise environment.
Strong operational and people management, coaching and relationship building skills.
Experience of starting up or running your own business or social enterprise.
Proven track record in sales/business development.
Experience of developing and delivering Apprenticeship programmes
Knowledge of the quality systems associated with providing apprenticeships and work experience.
Excellent project management, planning and organisation skills.
