This is a local charity that specialise in providing care for adults with Learning difficulties, Autism, Mental health and complex needs. They have a number of settings throughout Gloucestershire and Cheltenham, primarily Supported living services as well as an outreach service to help people access the community. As a charity this organisation is not just about filling beds, their ethos and way or working is all about providing an exceptional level of care and allowing people to live their lives to the full.
Your new role
This is an exciting job to join the charity as a Support worker, the job is to work within the various Supported living services in Cheltenham and Gloucester including the outreach services to provide an exceptional level of person centred care to the people using the charities service. There are full time posts available at 37.5 hours a week but they can be flexible in offering part time work as well.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have experience of working with adults who have a form of disability, a full driving licence and ideally an NVQ but this is not essential. Most of all though we are looking for people that are in care because they have a passion and desire to do the job, when you meet with this organisation you get a true sense of their ethos and passion for what they do.
