Market Leading Recruitment Agency is seeking an SQL Developer & Report Writer to join our Technical Services Team in Tottenham Court Road.

Required Skills & Experience
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Administration.
• At least three years experience using T-SQL with ability to create and troubleshoot advanced select statements, stored procedures, triggers and functions. An understanding of query optimisation and relational database structure.
• The ability to create Excel VBA's (mainly for reporting purposes.)
• Good level of general IT literacy.

Desirable Skills & Experience
• Experience with any of the following would be advantageous.
• SQL Server Integration Services.
• SQL Server Reporting Service.
• ASP.NET (VB)
• Microsoft IIS 7
• Knowledge of any of the following applications: Access Dimensions, Access SelectPay, Access Select HR, First Choice Software RDB Pro.Net, Orbis Task Centre.
• Crystal Reports.

Job Summary
Reporting to the IT Manager you will be responsible for supplying the company with accurate reporting data and presenting it in a suitable format, where it is easy to understand and manipulate. You will be required to make small modifications to the recruitment software, testing them in a development environment before live deployment. On occasions you will be required to troubleshoot issues relating to various software packages, locate the cause and suggest the action required to rectify the situation. You will be expected to liaise closely with third party suppliers and assist with the resolution of incidents.

You will also be responsible for the company intranet and a few small in-house applications (experience of VB or VB.NET helpful.)

The suitable candidate should be able to work on their own initiative whilst being proactive and able to anticipate the company's requirements. They should be confident, feel comfortable talking to senior management and be able to understand the business processes involved in the day to day operation of the business.

Salary: £30k-£34k basic depending on experience.

Hours: 8:30am-5:45pm term time/9am-4pm during the school holidays.
