The Quest Academy - Coloma Trust, opened in September 2010 and has made rapid improvements. This summer we celebrated record achievements including our best A-Level results ever, 100% pass rate and 32% A*-A.
We seek to appoint a dynamic and well qualified Head of Science to join our high achieving school. Applications are considered from either exceptional existing or aspiring leaders in Science. Candidates should be able to teach across the age and ability range. Evidence is required of successful performance and impact on student outcomes. The Science department is already a high performing department achieving in excess of 75% C+ at GCSE year on year and we are keen to maintain and stretch these standards further in the coming years.

In 2016 under the new “Progress 8 (P8) Score” system, GSCE success was measured at +0.16 with 58% A*-C grades; pupils achieved over a tenth of a grade more progress per subject than the national average. Our Sixth Form (Quest6) is popular and very successful; we are in the top 12% of A-level providers in England for ‘Value Added’.
