The School is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Music and Drama to cover the Head of Drama whilst on maternity leave. The role is to commence from September 2014 and will last for a period of 1 academic year. The successful candidate must have a comprehensive understanding of both the KS3 and KS4 Music and Drama curriculum, as the role will require them to teach both subject areas.

You will:
• Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of both the Music and Drama UK National Curriculum
• Be dedicated to facilitating the progress of students
• Demonstrate effective classroom management and efficient organisation of resources
• Have the ability to select appropriate teaching methods and resources according to pupil’s differing needs and their preferred learning style
• Work effectively as a member of the Department team to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
