Serving the Bourne End Community of Buckinghamshire and situated close to direct transport links into London, we are a supportive and ambitious community with 800 students across Key Stages 3-5. The Wye Valley School is going through a period of positive and significant change. We have high expectations for our young people and a determination to succeed at the highest level. We wish to recruit an ambitious, hard-working Head of Humanities who will thrive in an energetic and fast-paced environment.
The Humanities Team includes History, Geography, RE and PSHCE. The post holder must be able to teach History across the age and ability range.
You will be;
A qualified and experienced teacher who is an excellent classroom practitioner and can plan, maintain and develop outstanding teaching and learning for students across the age and ability range
Able to deliver consistently good-quality lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
Creative, forward-thinking and ambitious in their approach to teaching and in inspiring staff and students to reach their full potential.
Excited to be part of a team who are committed in leading the school forward.
