We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic candidate who has a genuine drive to be successful and be a part of the Early Years learning journey. As a level 3/level 2 Nursery Nurse you will have a very good understanding of the EYFS. Experience of key working, observing, planning and report writing is desirable, however support will be offered to a newly qualified Nursery Nurse.
Most Nurseries open between 7am-7pm and shifts offered will vary, but always fall in these hours.
Nursery Assistants/Nurses need to hold a relevant child care qualifications such as:
Level 2 or 3 Certificate for the Children and Young People's Workforce
Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development
Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Early Years Care and Education
CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education
BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development
NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development
We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process.
