Accrington Nursery Nurse
We are looking for NVQ Level 3 qualified nursery nurses to work in a Day Nursery in the Accrington area. The Nursery are looking for Nursery Nurses who have experience working in a similar childcare environment and who can provide suitable nursery nurse references to cover their experience.
The successful nursery nurses will hold a recognised childcare qualification, have the ability to plan and organise activities in line with the EYFS framework and have a good working knowledge of the principles of the EYFS. The Nursery also need the nursery nurses to be committed to maintaining their high standards, be flexible (as there will be shift working) and be able to work as part of a team with nursery nurse staff and parents alike. Current nursery nurse staff have described the Nursery as ‘a great place to work, very friendly’ and ‘committed to providing the best possible start to every child’s life’
We have negotiated excellent rates of pay for our nursery nurses and we also offer an accrual of 28 days paid holiday. All nursery nurses will be subject to stringent vetting procedures: including enhanced DBS clearance and ID checks.
You must be:
Qualified to level 3 or equivalent
Flexible
Patient
Have working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
Able to work in a team
Able to communicate effectively with parents and staff/children alike
