Fantastic opportunity for a Nursery Manager to work within a highly regarded Nursery in north Bristol. This established large Nursery requires a Nursery Manager to oversee all aspects of the Nursery, from the staffing, to the occupancy, to the administration. You must have previous Nursery Manager experience, as this large setting will require a confident Manager. Ideally you will have achieved ‘Good’ Ofsted results previously and will understand what is required to ensure this result.
The role is a full time role, 40 hours per week and pay ranges from £24,000 - £28,000 dependant on qualifications, skills and experience.
You will have strong leadership and management skills, with a professional approach. The ideal candidate must also have excellent interpersonal skills and see building strong relationships with both staff and parents as a vital part of the role.
Despite the role being supernumerary, the owner of the Nursery is keen for the Manager to be visible and spend as much time with the children and staff outside the office as possible. In order to enable this, the Nursery Manager will be supported be a part time administrator in order to ensure that the administration burden is reduced enabling the manager more time with both staff and children.
Whilst ensuring they will support the manager by being regularly visible and providing financial support when ever necessary, The owner of the Nursery is eager to give the manager full autonomy of the Nursery and will give them all responsibility for decision making within the Nursery.
