Residential care home in Shropshire require a SENCO for their education centre.
This is an ongoing position from September 2012, with a view to going permanent for the right candidate.
Applicants need to be Primary trained, ideally with a specialism in Early Years. It is not a necessity that you have worked in a special needs setting or as a SENCO previously, but you must have a sound knowledge of developing and working with pupil IEPs and behavioural management strategies. The successful candidate will be required to attend a weekly meeting with external agencies, so you must have a confident personality and have proven skills in building relationships.
Interviews will be held in August.
