THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF KANSAS WHO MEET THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS (AS DEFINED IN THE RULES BELOW). VOID ELSEWHERE AND WHEREEVER PROHIBITED. ALL REFERENCES TO TIME ARE CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. Promotion Period: Contest registration is open from 8/29/14 until 12/28/14. The contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Who May Enter: Contest is open only to legal residents of Kansas who are aged 18 or older as of March 16, 2014 as verified with a valid driver’s license, with the exception of: employees, officers, directors and agents of Eagle Communications (“Sponsor”) their respective franchisees, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the design or execution of this promotion (collectively “Released Parties”) and the members of the immediate families or households of any of the above. “Immediate family members” includes, for purposes of this promotion, parents (including in-laws), grandparents, siblings (including step-siblings), children (including step-children), grand children (including step grand children) and each of their respective spouses or any individual who does not have access to the internet or a valid email account at the time of entry. Complete the on-line registration including name, address, email address, birth date, and phone number (including area code). Each registrant will designate a ‘Screen Name’ and password. The designated ‘Screen Name’ will be displayed on the ‘Standings Page’ during the contest. The registrant’s Username & password will allow participants to return to the contest site to Log-in and view predictions, points and standings. After having read and agreed to these Official Rules, submit the on-line registration. All entries must be fully complete for all required registration information. Any entry submitted with an invalid email address will be disqualified. Any available opt-in opportunities are not required to enter the Contest, and checking the opt-in boxes will not improve your chances of winning. Any registered participant or contestant who fails to complete the on-line registration form, or fully complete the required picks in the designated tournament will be disqualified from the grand prize contest and will be ineligible to claim the grand prize (see below). Maximum of one entry per person. Any incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected registrations or for any entry not submitted or received due to any technical error or failure, unauthorized human intervention, inaccurate capture or misentry of any required information, or the failure to capture any such information or effects of hackers or failure of any electronic equipment, computer transmissions and/or network connections, which will be disqualified. Each participant must submit an entry on one’s own behalf. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void. In the event of a dispute as to any on-line or text-entry registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant and must be eligible according to these Official Rules. The “authorized email account holder” is the person assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. All entries received become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Points: Each eligible participant will receive 1 point for each correct pick. Tie Breaking Procedures: In the event of a tie, the tie-breakers shall be as follows: –Contestant who has predicted closest to the Cumulative Points total of the last game listed, regardless if the prediction is higher or lower than the actual point total. –In the event of a remaining tie among any eligible contestants, the tie-breaker shall then be a random drawing conducted by the Contest Administrator. Grand Prize Contest: The grand prize will be awarded to an eligible contestant who correctly predicts the winner of the highest number of the designated games at the end of the NFL Regular Season. Each eligible entry must include the entire prediction for each required item, and must be received by Sponsor by the registration deadline. All entries must be complete for all weeks of the regular season to claim any prize. At the completion of the tournament, each eligible prediction will be compared to the actual outcome of each game. Winner must provide name, address, phone number, valid social security number and photocopy of a government issued photo identification card, completed and signed W-9 form within five (5) business days of notification: Prize Awards & Delivery: One Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize is a ASUS x550c laptop computer from Bauer Computers in Great Bend. Approximate value is $699.00. The Prize will be redeemed in person at Bauer Computers, 3104 10th St, Great Bend, KS 67530. Grand Prize: The entry with the highest number of correct game predictions will win the Grand Prize. All other costs related to prize delivery and acceptances are the responsibility of the winner including, but not limited to federal, state and local taxes. All properly claimed prizes will be awarded. Additional Rules & Restrictions: By participating in this contest, entrants agree to abide by the Official Rules and the decisions of the Administrator, which shall be final. In the event an entrant wins a prize, and is later found to be in violation of these rules, entrant will be required to forfeit the prize or to reimburse Sponsor for the stated value of the prize. Participation in contest constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners’ names and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising and trade in any media without compensation unless prohibited by law. False, fraudulent or deceptive entries or acts shall render entrants ineligible for any prize. Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing or advertising of the offer, administration or execution of the contest or in the announcement of the prizes/prize winners. By entering, entrants agree to hold sponsor and released parties, from any claims, losses, actions, or damages of any kind, whether actual, incidental or consequential, for injury (including but not limited to death), damages, losses or expenses arising out of or relating to entrant’s participation in this contest, or the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of any prize, or participation in prize-related activities (including but not limited to travel related thereto), technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to, malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software and to assume all liability in connection therewith. Releasees shall not be liable to any winner, entrant or any other person for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof by reason of any acts of God, any actions, regulations, orders, or requests by any governmental entity, equipment failure, terrorist acts, war, fire, unusually severe weather, embargo, labor dispute or strike, labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, or any other cause beyond Releasees’ sole control. No more than the advertised maximum number of prizes will be awarded for any reason. Odds: The odds of being selected as an official contestant are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received.
