North Myrtle Beach:

North Myrtle Beach Aquatic & Fitness Center weekly themed summer camps including swimming, gym games, arts and crafts, speakers and movies, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Mondays-Fridays for ages 6-12. .

North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation usually offers sports camps. Check the link for offerings.

Myrtle Beach:

Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum offers three-day KidsArt Summer camps for children to explore the art in our galleries and discover a variety of mediums in the bright and inviting art studio.

Carolina Forest Recreation Center offers a variety of summer camps but it appears to be already full.

Ripley’s Aquarium offers a wide variety of camp programs, ranging from half-day programs to overnight and even week-long camps! All camps include educational opportunities and tons of fun for participants! They fill up quickly and space is limited, early registration is recommended. Calvary Summer Day Camp offers a wide variety of activities that make our adventure unique. Wild Water Water park weekly, Games, Crafts, Bible time, Sports, Vacation Station, Sports, Legos, Foosball, Ping Pong and more! Come play on our 13 acre campus including a cool shady playground, air conditioned gym, sports fields and many re-structured classrooms set up for fun! Camp meets daily, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm. The last day of camp is August 12th. Lunch and all activities are included in the weekly fee. Pepper Geddings Recreation Center at 3205 Oak St., Myrtle Beach, sports camps starting June 12 through Aug. 19, ranging from track and field, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, basketball and triathlon. Open to the first 60 participants. Each camp is one week long, Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.; early drop-off and pick-up available.  Also offers summer swim lessons. Call 918-2280.

Myrtle Beach Riptides Summer Swim Team for ages 6-12, in Myrtle Beach, practices start week of June 6: 10-11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at Canal Street Recreation Center, 6:30-7:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at Pepper Geddings Rec Center; swim meet Thursdays starting June 23 at Pepper Geddings; Call 222-7105.

Camp Friendship Summer 2016 Registration is underway…Call 843-918-2280 for information. Registration is underway! The camp begins the first Monday after the regular school year ends. The nine  week summer camp program is 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at Pepper Geddings Recreation Center, 3205 North Oak Street. For more information, call 843-918-2280.

“Camp Cool Out”  at Mary C. Canty Recreation Center, 971 Canal Street. Registration for this full time, Monday through Friday summer day camp is on a first come, first serve basis, and the camp begins Monday, June 6. Daily activities include arts and crafts, games, sports, everyday swimming and field trips. Weekly fees are $75 per week, per child. Reduced fees are available. Myrtle Beach School of Performing Arts summer program includes  six weeks of dance classes,  Song & Dance Camps for elementary students and a 2 week Theater Production Workshop with a full-scale musical presentation.

Conway:

Coastal Carolina University offers athletic camps which seek to engage campers with interactive learning experiences while providing a fun, rewarding and safe experience for all. We have a diverse group of camps counselors from the Coastal Carolina University community. All of the camp staff is dedicated to giving each camper a summer to remember. Coastal Carolina University also makes reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities.

Coastal Youth Theatre at Theatre of the Republic. Summer Classes are held Monday – Friday from 10am – 3pm for a 3 week session.  This includes ages 7- and up. Classes are a mixture of technique and show rehearsal.  Show dates are the weekend of the final week of classes.

Garden City:

Mad Science Summer Camps  offer a daily combination of in-class discovery and exploration, outdoor games and physical activities, and hands-on applications of the scientific principles presented. Your child will be able to touch, see, hear, smell and taste what science is really all about. Terry and Don’s gymnastics camps  offers full and half day options, Monday through Friday.

Murrells Inlet:

Brookgreen Gardens Camp Brookgreen 2016  Week-long camp provides activities with an emphasis on connections to the natural world, animals, and art. Summer fun and educational enrichment at Brookgreen Gardens include hands-on activities, zoo and garden exploration, live animal encounters, crafts, games, stories, projects and more.
